 Circulating Conveyors
NERAK Vertical Circulating Conveyors - using the paternoster principle - are designed for applications where continuous random loading and unloading at multiple levels is required. They are for continuous vertical conveying with separate loading and unloading on each floor. Feeding and discharging can be handled at unlimited number of floors.
There are two models available - one for identical sized articles like standard size totes and one for articles of different size or shapes such as various carton sizes.
These conveyors are designed for high capacity up to 25 units per Minute. They are used at Mail Order Centers, Postal and Warehouse Distribution applications. Item loads can range from under 1lb to 100lbs!
The Circulating Conveyor runs in circular motion. They can be built as high as 100 feet.

Platforms are usually fork type platforms that carry the Product. The platforms are attached to two Rubber Chains. They are guided throughout the Conveyor to ensure a smooth, stable and gentle transport of items.
NERAK Rubber Chains with high-tensile steel cable inside are the driving and transporting members without wear points that need lubrication or maintenance. The Operation is silent and clean. NERAK Vertical Conveyors have lower Power requirements, and less needs for servicing and maintenance compared than any conventional conveying system.
Feeding of the product is made on the up moving side of the conveyor. Retractable Conveyors inside the Circulating Conveyors ensure a clean and smooth transfer from the horizontal conveyor to the vertical moving Circulating Conveyor Platform. The feed conveyor starts and stops automatically to feed the platforms on the Vertical Lift. Belt, Roller or Chain Conveyors are selected usually. They can be supplied by NERAK or the Customer.
Discharging of the product is made on the down moving side of the conveyor. Retractable Conveyors inside the Circulating Conveyors ensure a clean and smooth transfer from the vertical moving Circulating Conveyor Platform to the horizontal conveyor. The platform transfers without stopping onto any running conveyor for continued transport. They can be supplied by NERAK or the Customer.
Casings are available Welded and Painted Tubular Carbon Steel Frames, Welded Tubular Stainless Steel Frames for easy cleaning. Carbon Steel casings can be powder coated, or being painted with an Enamel or Epoxy Paint. Stainless Steel casings can be provided in different qualities, like 403 and 316 and in a surface quality of your choice.
The cladding can be made of perforated Aluminum Sheets, Steel Sheets or Clear Plastic Sheets. They protect your conveyor, your product and ensure a safe work environment. Aluminum Sheets or Clear Plastic Sheets are perfect to monitor your conveyor at all time.
All NERAK Continuous Vertical Conveyors are equipped with generously dimensioned servicing and monitoring openings and removable covers for servicing access.
Many Options are available for customer's choice, Zero/Under Speed Sensor, Current Limiters and Control Panels as well as different types of feed and discharge conveyors and other equipment.
